Get ready to shine, Bargersville! The Merry & Bright Holiday Light Contest is back and brighter than ever for its second year! Residents and businesses across town are invited to deck the halls, rooftops, lawns and storefronts in their most dazzling holiday displays.
Whether you're going for classic elegance or full-on festive fun, this is your chance to spread holiday cheer - and a little friendly competition! Judges will tour the town to select winners in several categories, listed below.
All participants must be within the Town of Bargersville boundaries and will have the option to be added to the holiday light map for spectators. The map will be shared on the Town and Park’s social media pages and website.

- Most Festive Yard - Over the top, joyful displays with inflatables, figures and bold color

- Best Window Display - beautiful and creative storefront or window decorations
- Most Welcoming Entrance - Inviting storefronts or entryways that make people want to stop, shop, or smile.

Merry & Bright Contest Rules
- Eligibility: Open to residents and businesses within the Town of Bargersville.
- Categories: Residential and Business/Commercial entries will be judged separately.
- Business/Commercial Entries: Must be located at a commercial property; residential addresses used for business purposes are not eligible for the business category.
- Entry Deadline: All entries must be submitted by Sunday, December 7 by 11:59pm.
- Display Period: Lights must be on and visible from the street between 5:30pm - 10:00pm from Monday, December 8 to Wednesday, December 10.
- Visibility: All displays must be visible from the street.
- Safety: Displays must be safe and not obstruct sidewalks or roadways.
- Winners: Winners will be announced on Friday, December 12 and recognized at a Town Council meeting.
