Storytime with JCPL is a fun and engaging program designed to foster a love of reading and learning in children of all ages. Each session features a carefully selected collection of books read aloud.Participants will enjoy a mix of storytelling, songs and hands-on crafts related to the books being read. This program also provides a wonderful opportunity for families to bond over reading and to connect with other community members.Monday Storytime meets year-round at the Bargersville Community Center at 11am on the 4th Monday of the month. The Summer Concert Series consists of 8 cover-bands on select Thursday evenings scheduled in partnership with RD Productions LLC. A portion of Baldwin Street is closed (adjacent to the Plaza) and will feature 1 food truck, 1 beverage/dessert truck and Parks Department representation.The Summer Concert Series will be at Umbarger Plaza, conveniently located at in Downtown Bargersville. All concerts listed are FREE and will be on select Thursday evenings from 7pm - 9pm with an additional Sunday late afternoon concert. The 2026 Bargersville Summer Concert Series is made possible by the sponsorships made to RD Productions. For info on summer concert series sponsorship, please contact Rob at RD Productions at rhelms@biggcountry.com. For sponsorship inquiries on all other Park and Town programs please contact the Parks Department at parks@bargersville.in.gov  Food and beverage trucks will be available (registration available soon). Performance dates are select Fridays from May through August at the Umbarger Plaza Amphitheater, located in downtown Bargersville.The series is fully supported through sponsorships and external funding.
