Governance


The Department of Parks and Recreation was established in 2022 per IC 36-10-3.

The Department is governed by the Parks and Recreation Board which consists of four (4) members appointed by the Town Council. Board members serve four-year terms of office. Board members set policy for the department, which is administered by the Director of Parks and Recreation.

The board meets the second Friday of each month at 8:30am in the Town Hall Board Room, located at 24 N Main Street.
