Notice of Photography
By attending a public event organized by the Town of Bargersville, attendees acknowledge and agree that photography, videography and audio recording may occur.
Use of Media
Photos and videos taken at events may be used by the Town of Bargersville for:
- Marketing and promotional materials (digital and print)
- News media or press releases
Opt-Out Policy
Attendees who do not wish to be photographed or recorded should:
- Inform the event staff at check-in
- Avoid posing for group or staged photos
- Notify the photographer if approached
Where possible, we will accommodate reasonable requests to avoid or remove identifiable images from public use.
External Photographers and Media
Photographers, videographers, or media not affiliated with the Town of Bargersville must:
- Register in advance (if required)
- Follow all venue rules and privacy guidelines
- Clearly identify themselves and obtain consent when photographing individuals up close
Unauthorized commercial photography is prohibited unless expressly permitted.
Minors
Special consideration is given to the photography of minors (under age 18). Unless part of a public, crowd, or large group shot, we will not intentionally photograph or publish images of minors without:
- The presence and consent of a parent or legal guardian
- A signed media release form, when applicable
Respect & Conduct
All photographers and videographers must:
- Respect personal space and consent
- Avoid capturing sensitive or inappropriate moments
- Immediately comply with request to stop recording or delete images if asked by an individual or staff
