The Bargersville Parks Department was recognized by the Indiana Park & Recreation Association at the Annual Awards of Excellence Ceremony on November 7. Kephart Park received the 2023 Exceptional Park Design Award. The Town of Bargersville opened the much anticipated 18-acre Kephart Park in July 2023. Features include a SplashPad, Playground, Pickleball Courts, shelters and restrooms. Kephart Park is the first community park in Bargersville and kick-started the growth and development of the Parks Department.The commitment and vision of many people made this project a reality including past and present Town Council and Park Board members, Crossroad Engineers, Shrewsberry Landscape Architects and Boyle Construction Management.
